Our company specializes in decision support systems, assisting customers in the shipping, aviation and financial markets to reduce their expenses and improve their corporate efficiency. The Position

 

By joining our team in Data Science you will have the opportunity to:

• Work as a key resource in our efforts to reshape the full solution landscape within decision making and risk

• Work in close collaboration with our global marketing and software development team

• Collaborate with business experts and our development team to translate data, into realizable concepts and working solutions

• Creating and maintaining documentation of decisions and solution concepts

• Communicate and ensure common understanding and alignment across internal and external stakeholders, in a complex solution and vendor landscape

• Work closely in or with development teams throughout the development process, including process design, testing and verification

You:

We are looking for a person with:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a quantitative field (mathematics, statistics, engineering, programming, IT, etc.)

• Experience with Python (Pandas, Numpy, Scikit, etc.) (mandatory)

• Relevant experience with data cleaning and preprocessing techniques

• Experience with modeling and forecasting - experience with time series/financial data is a big advantage

• Familiarity with working with APIs and database technologies such as SQL and large datasets is an advantage

• An interest in understanding business perspectives and how data can bring value and competitive advantage

• Initiative to work alone, but also in a team and is driven to lead others.

• Curiousity and an avid learner, with an appetite for diving deep into both business processes and technical topics
